Hi,

Well it was a busy summer. We had 25 students sign up for free summer school. 19 actually completed their course work. We had a good time and it was tough to send them back to regular school but they are doing well so far. Three students who were drop outs reenrolled in PR-1 as Seniors. All of them want to continue thier education. It felt wonderful to offer them free classes. Three students had perfect attendance for 6 weeks. 2 Students had straight A's. I am calling each of them every week to check on their progress and help problem solve if they need it.

We have classes beginning soon. Students will be working on high school course work, GED preparation and many other things that will improve their skills both academically and socially. If you know anyone who might benefit from this program, give us a call.

A senior girl named Brooke from PHS has done a wonderful job putting together this 5k race as a fundraiser for our drop out retrieval program. Her heart is big and she has worked so hard to make this happen so please come out and support her effort!
